Activities planned for Workplace Wellbeing Day

At Accenture Ireland our people's health and wellbeing has and will always be a top priority. Now more than ever we need to lead with compassion, be flexible and care for our people and each other. To celebrate National Workplace Wellbeing day, we are delighted to announce that we have partnered with Virgin Pulse and will be taking part in the 2020 Virgin Pulse Global Challenge. The Challenge is a virtual team-based competition that equips our employees with the knowledge, tools and resources to help build new healthy habits.

We also have a suite of resources in place to help our people work remotely, and we are pushing out lots of best practice with the support of our mental health allies. Communication is vital; we are taking a high touch approach and holding employee listening sessions and using the insights we gather to tailor our physical and mental wellbeing initiatives to support our people. Our organised virtual sessions are on a range of topics from managing mood and emotionally supporting children and family members during uncertain times, through to managing sleep and staying fit and healthy.

Our internal launch comms will cover:
  • Launching the VPGC and asking team leads to register
  • Link to resources on the VPGC website
  • Set a competition with the chance to win a Fitbit to kick off
  • Highlighting the resources accenture employees have available internally for health and wellbeing
  • Link to the IBEC published content
