Activities planned for Workplace Wellbeing Day

We will promote the online Mindfulness sessions with Susan Keane so individual staff can choose to do it a time that suits them best. 

We will have some 'Laughter at 11' with an online comedy show for staff organised by The Laughter Lounge.

Physical fitness with an online Pilates class at lunch with Rachel Browne from Rehab Rooms Physiotherapy Clinic Deansgrange, specifically supporting those working  from home and prolonged sitting at a desk.  Family members will also be welcome to participate. 

Finishing off our activites on the day with an online meditation session with Loretta Whelan, Nurture Therapies designed to give comfort to those in isolation who may be feeling anxious as they are separated from family and friends. 

IADT ran it's annual worklife balance day on the 28th February offering a host of activities to staff - our theme for the year was Caring and we ran a talk on "Carers caring for our ourselves" along with an information sessions on Nutrition, the Fair deal Scheme & Mortgages. We also provided subsidised health screening.

Given that Covid 19 took over in March we decided to try and hold something additional on the 1st May to celebrate Wellbeing day and we have organised
